YMCA of the Inland Northwest seeks a Lead Teacher for ECC in Spokane, WA. This full-time role directs classroom activities, creates engaging programs, and builds positive rapport with youth and families, aligning with YMCA values.

Compliance with licensing and safety practices is essential. The position requires an Early Childhood Education Certificate within five years, prior child care experience, and ongoing training and health clearances.

Qualifications

• Must obtain Early Childhood Education Certificate within 5 years of hire.
• Experience with children in diverse settings required.
• Ability to plan and implement age-appropriate activities.
• Vaccine and training requirements must be met as listed.

Responsabilités

• Lead classroom by supervising and guiding children in purposeful programming.
• Maintain positive relationships with children, families and co-workers.
• Adhere to DCYF Licensing, Early Achievers and YMCA standards; ensure safety.
• Communicate progress to families and conduct family conferences.
• Maintain neat, well-organized classroom and records as requested.
