Job summary

YMCA of the Inland Northwest is seeking a part-time Youth Leader to support before/after school programs and day camps for school-age children in Spokane, WA. The role involves engaging youth, building positive relationships with families, and promoting YMCA values in a childcare setting.

The position requires at least 18 years old, completion of MERIT/background processes, and a commitment to inclusion and ADA standards.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age.
• Must register in MERIT system and complete background/ trainings.
• Experience with children is preferred.
• Ability to work with diverse families and communities.
• Commitment to inclusion and ADA compliance.

Responsibilities

• Support before/after school programs and day camps at multiple sites.
• Supervise and nurture school-age children in a childcare setting.
• Model YMCA core values of Honesty, Respect, Caring, and Responsibility.
• Communicate with families about child progress and needs.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized program site and equipment.
