The position requires active participation in the school leadership team, collaboration with staff, and hands-on instructional coaching, technology integration, and data-driven differentiation.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of successful classroom teaching.
• Proven experience serving on a school leadership team or equivalent.
• Valid State Teaching Certification.
• Current Certified Mentor status or commitment to earn mentor certification upon hire.
• Commitment to attend all 10 specialized innovative teacher trainings; after-hours work may be required.

Responsibilities

• Serve actively on the school leadership team to shape the school's academic vision, culture, and goals.
• Act as a liaison between administration and instructional staff to champion innovative practices.
• Provide direction and input for county curriculum initiatives, aligning with district goals.
• Attend all 10 mandated innovative teacher training sessions and professional development workshops.
• Translate district curriculum changes into actionable classroom strategies for peers.
• Serve as a certified mentor to guide new and developing educators.
• Offer hands-on instructional coaching, co-teaching opportunities, and peer observations.
• Model advanced instructional strategies, including technology integration and student-centered learning.
