Job summary

Heartfelt Impressions in Clarkston, MI is hiring a Lead Infant Teacher to guide infants ages 6 weeks to 12 months using the High Scope curriculum. You will lead daily activities with support from an assistant teacher to ensure engaging, safe, and developmentally appropriate care.

The ideal candidate holds a CDA credential or a degree in early childhood education and has at least one year of infant classroom experience, plus CPR certification.

Job Details

• Status: Regular, full-time
• Schedule: Monday – Friday 7am-4pm
• Pay rate- $16-$20/hour (based on certification or degree plus years of experience in Early Childhood Education)
• Location: Onsite, Clarkston, MI
• Please note this position does not qualify for US Visa sponsorship or relocation

• CDA (Child Development Associate) credential required
• Bachelor’s or associate degree in early childhood education, child development or child-related field preferred
• Minimum of one year experience in an infant classroom required
• CPR Certification
• Willing to pursue higher education in accordance with NAEYC and Michigan Child Care Licensing guidelines for ECE Teachers
