Job summary

Heartfelt Impressions Learning Centers in Lake Orion, MI seeks a compassionate Lead Infant Teacher to guide infants' daily learning with an assistant teacher. The role emphasizes safety, nurturing care, and development within the High Scope framework.

The position is full-time, onsite, Mon-Fri (8am-5pm) with a pay rate of $16–$20/hour based on certification and experience in Early Childhood Education. CDA credential is required; degree preferred.

Qualifications

• CDA credential required.
• Bachelor’s or associate degree in early childhood education, child development or child-related field preferred.
• Minimum of one year experience in an infant classroom.
• CPR Certification.
• Willing to pursue higher education in accordance with NAEYC and Michigan Child Care Licensing guidelines for ECE Teachers.

• Lead day-to-day activities for infants with the assistance of an assistant teacher.
• Foster curiosity, growth and security during key developmental years.
• Utilize the High Scope curriculum to provide high-quality learning experiences.

We believe in the importance of early childhood education and are actively seeking a compassionate and dedicated Lead Infant Teacher to join our Lake Orion team.

As the Lead, you will help foster curiosity, growth, and security during a child’s most important developmental years. You play a vital role in the development and well-being of infants, leading the day-to-day activities with the support and collaboration of an assistant teacher to provide the best possible learning experience and care for infants utilizing the High Scope curriculum.

Position Details

Status: Regular, full-time

Schedule: Monday – Friday (8am-5pm)

Pay rate- $16-$20/hour (based on certification or degree plus years of experience in Early Childhood Education)

Location: Onsite, Lake Orion, MI
