Job summary

EY is seeking a senior leader to head the Customer Tax Operations and Reporting (CTORS) team within EY EDGE, focusing on US and global tax information reporting and withholding for financial services clients.

You will lead a team of tax professionals, manage data preparation, reporting, and client interactions, and ensure compliant, efficient operations while traveling 20% or less and guiding performance across multiple workstreams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Tax, Law, or Economics.
• 8+ years of operational delivery experience.
• CPA, EA, or licensed attorney.
• Ability to prioritize, handle and track multiple assignments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong data analysis capabilities.
• Ability to draft/design business requirements, process flow diagrams and rules matrices.
• Change management, operations and process improvement experience.
• Ability to identify improvement opportunities and actively engage in implementing improvements.
• Demonstrated leadership skills and proven skills in developing employees.
• Strong oral and written communication as well as presentation skills.
• Excellent trouble shooting, execution and communication skills.
• Proficient using Microsoft products such as Excel, Word, and Power Point; proficiency in tax accounting systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead tax operations team; action data preparation, aggregation, reporting and filings.
• Coordinate day-to-day client interactions; review KPIs and drive delivery.
• Develop internal team members and manage engagement economics.
• Oversee operations, provide leadership visibility on status and issues.
• Ensure standardized processes and coordinate training as needed.
• Support client audits with documentation of current processes.
• Drive efficiency with KPI reporting and management oversight.
• Act as counsellor and coach; manage team performance; travel 20% or less.
