Job summary

EY is seeking a senior tax operations leader to guide the Customer Tax Operations and Reporting (CTORS) team in the US and globally. You will manage data preparation, reporting, and compliance for complex tax information reporting and transaction taxes in the financial services industry.

Ideal candidates bring 8+ years of operational delivery experience, a CPA/EA or attorney credential, and demonstrated leadership to develop teams while delivering on time and within budget in a hybrid EY

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Tax, Law, or Economics.
• 8+ years operational delivery experience.
• CPA, EA, or licensed attorney.
• Ability to prioritize, handle and track multiple assignments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong data analysis capabilities.
• Ability to draft/design business requirements, process flow diagrams and rules matrices.
• Change management, operations and process improvement experience.
• Ability to identify improvement opportunities and actively engage in implementing improvements.
• Demonstrated leadership skills and proven skills in developing employees.
• Strong oral and written communication as well as presentation skills.
• Excellent trouble shooting, execution and communication skills.
• Proficient using Microsoft Excel, Word, and Power Point; Proficiency in tax accounting systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead tax operations team and manage data preparation and reporting.
• Coordinate day-to-day client interactions and monitor KPIs.
• Ensure standardized processes for tax operations.
• Support client internal and external audits.
• Coach and develop a team of tax professionals.
• Travel 20% or less.
