Job summary

RTX is hiring a Sr. Systems Engineer - Processing, Guidance, & Controls to support advanced autonomous systems in our Tucson, AZ campus. You will develop, simulate, and evaluate control and navigation algorithms, build dynamic models, and analyze test data to improve performance.

You will work cross-functionally with mechanical, electrical, software, systems, and test teams. A degree in Engineering/Science/Math and 5+ years of experience are required, along with MATLAB, Python, and C/C++ skills,

Qualifications

• Requires degree in Engineering, Science, Physics, Mathematics or related STEM field.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with MATLAB, Python, C/C++ and/or OO design.
• Ability to obtain Interim Secret clearance; U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Develop, simulate, and evaluate control and navigation algorithms for autonomous systems.
• Build and use dynamic system models and simulations to evaluate behavior.
• Analyze test data to evaluate performance and drive improvements.
• Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, software, and test teams for integration.
