Job summary

RTX in Fulton, MD is seeking a Principal Systems Engineer to serve as technical lead on software development projects such as CAC2S and BC3, focusing on multi-sensor information fusion, networked situational awareness, and visualization.

You will perform full life cycle systems engineering, mentor engineers, lead medium to large teams, and travel to customer sites as needed. A STEM degree with 8+ years, or an advanced degree with 5+ years, and citizenship with clearance are required.

Qualifications

Experience deriving software design requirements and coaching/mentoring teams.
STEM degree with 8+ years, or advanced degree with 5+ years.
U.S. citizenship; ability to obtain/maintain security clearance; Secret clearance after day 1.
Experience with DOORS, Sparx EA, Cameo.
Experience configuring/testing cloud deployments.
EVMS techniques; apply as CAM.

Responsibilities

Serve as technical lead and systems engineer on CAC2S and BC3.
Engage in multi-sensor and information fusion, networked situational awareness, and visualization technologies.
Perform full life cycle SE tasks: requirements analysis, architecture, trade studies, IV&V.
Lead medium to large engineering development teams.
Mentor engineers and solve complex technical problems.
Travel to customer sites as required.
