Job summary

Collins Aerospace, an RTX company, seeks a Principal Systems Engineer in Fulton, MD, to lead complex software and systems engineering efforts for CAC2S/BC3 programs. You will shape requirements, architectures, and IV&V activities, while guiding engineers and collaborating with customers in a hybrid on-site/off-site model.

Ideal candidates have STEM degrees with 8+ years in systems engineering, DoD familiarity, and experience with DoORS/Sparx/Cameo. Travel and security clearance are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or higher STEM degree with relevant experience.
• 8+ years of systems engineering experience or 5+ with advanced degree.
• Experience with DoD systems and security clearance requirements.
• Proven ability to lead engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a technical lead and systems engineer on CAC2S or BC3.
• Lead medium to large engineering development teams.
• Mentor engineers and solve critical technical problems.
• Travel to customer sites as needed.
• Apply ISO/IEC/IEEE 15288 and Mil-Std-499B concepts.
