RTX in Fulton, MD is seeking a Principal Systems Engineer to serve as technical lead on software development projects such as CAC2S and BC3, focusing on multi-sensor information fusion, networked situational awareness, and visualization.
You will perform full life cycle systems engineering, mentor engineers, lead medium to large teams, and travel to customer sites as needed. A STEM degree with 8+ years, or an advanced degree with 5+ years, and citizenship with clearance are required.

Principal Systems Engineer to work in Fulton, MD. Serve as a technical lead and systems engineer on challenging software development projects such as the Common Aviation Command and Control System (CAC2S) or the Battlespace Command and Control Center (BC3). Be engaged with exciting and innovative advancements in Multi‑Sensor and Information Fusion, Networked Situational Awareness, and Visualization technologies. Perform full life cycle systems engineering tasks including system requirements analysis, definition, architecture design, trade studies, integration, verification and validation (IV&V). Serve as Technical Leader of medium to large engineering development teams. Act as systems engineering discipline subject matter expert for the department, mentoring other engineers and solving critical technical problems with innovative solutions. Travel to customer sites as needed.
