Job summary

REI Systems Engineer Lead role in the Seattle area is a hybrid position driving secure, scalable endpoint platforms for Windows and macOS. You will orchestrate Intune, Jamf, and SCCM integration with cloud and on‑prem environments to deliver a smooth, self‑service experience for co‑op employees.

You will lead incident response, guide automation efforts, and mentor teams across security, engineering, and operations to improve reliability and performance.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of endpoint engineering experience in large-scale environments.
• Experience administering Jamf, SCCM, Intune, and AVD via Nerdio.
• Strong Windows and macOS device lifecycle, patching, and security hardening.
• Ability to automate workflows with scripting (PowerShell, Python, Bash).

Responsibilities

• Lead technical direction for endpoint platforms, aligning with security and architecture.
• Define OS strategy, hardware standards, lifecycle management, and enterprise standards.
• Manage medium-to-complex initiatives and ensure production readiness across teams.
• Drive automation of device provisioning, patching, configuration, and compliance.
• Improve platform reliability through monitoring, resiliency practices, and data insights.
• Lead incident response, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
• Mentor engineers, promote best practices, and manage vendor relationships.
