Job summary

French & Parrello Associates (FPA) invites an experienced Survey Project Manager to join our Wall Township, NJ surveying team. You will oversee a diverse portfolio of land development, municipal infrastructure, and utility projects, guiding field crews and office staff to deliver accurate data and timely results.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years in surveying, strong PM skills, and excellent communication. You will manage scopes, budgets, and client relationships while coordinating with engineers

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Surveying, Geomatics, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of progressive surveying experience, including project management.
• Strong knowledge of land surveying principles and standards.
• Experience with boundary, topographic, ALTA/NSPS, construction, right-of-way, or utility surveying.
• Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D or similar software.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel.

Responsibilities

• Manage surveying projects from initiation through completion.
• Serve as primary client contact and maintain long-term relationships.
• Prepare scopes of work, proposals, schedules, and contracts.
• Coordinate field survey activities with crews.
• Provide technical oversight and QC for various survey types.
• Review plans, descriptions, easements, and plats for accuracy.
• Coordinate survey with civil engineering and other disciplines.
• Monitor budgets, schedules, and staffing.
• Mentor survey staff and coordinate with project managers.
• Support business development and client outreach.
