Gilder Search Group in Rutherford, NJ is seeking a Survey Project Manager to lead and oversee survey initiatives from inception to delivery. You will coordinate with clients, manage plans, schedules and budgets, and guide a team of surveyors, CAD technicians, and technicians to successful outcomes.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in land surveying, a strong command of surveying principles, excellent leadership and communication skills, and a proven ability to deliver high-quality data on time

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in surveying, civil engineering, or a related field; professional surveying license (PLS) is a plus.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in land surveying.
• Strong understanding of surveying principles, methodologies, and techniques.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Familiarity with relevant industry standards and regulations.
• Problem-solving skills and the ability to make informed decisions under pressure.
• Strong client relationship management skills.

Responsabilidades

• Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets, and communicate these to the surveying team.
• Lead and coordinate survey teams, including Survey Party Chiefs, CAD Technicians, and Technicians, to achieve project goals.
• Monitor and ensure the quality and accuracy of survey data collected in the field.
• Review and approve survey deliverables, including plats, maps, and drawings.
• Maintain regular communication with clients to provide project updates and address any concerns.
• Collaborate with other departments, such as engineering and construction, to ensure seamless project integration.
• Provide leadership, mentorship, and training to surveying team members.
