Job summary

LHH is partnered with a growing surveying and geomatics firm in Virginia Beach, VA to fill a Survey Office Manager role. This high-visibility leadership position requires a Virginia-licensed PLS who enjoys leading teams, managing operations, and helping drive business growth.

You will oversee survey PMs, CAD Technicians, and field crews, manage schedules and budgets, maintain client relationships, and assist with business development. A monthly vehicle stipend is provided.

Qualifications

• Active Virginia PLS license is required.
• 5–10+ years of land surveying experience.
• Experience leading survey teams or operations.
• Strong project management and client-facing skills.
• Experience with boundary, topographic, construction, and ALTA/NSPS surveys.

Responsibilities

• Managing day-to-day office and survey operations.
• Leading and developing project managers, technical staff, and field teams.
• Overseeing project schedules, budgets, staffing, and deliverables.
• Supporting boundary, topographic, construction, and ALTA/NSPS survey projects.
• Maintaining strong client relationships and communication.
• Assisting with business development and marketing efforts.
• Ensuring quality, efficiency, and successful project execution.
