Job summary

Actalent is seeking a skilled land surveyor to support a range of survey types including Title, ALTA, Topographic, and As-built surveys from our Plainfield, NJ office. The role emphasizes precise fieldwork, construction stakeout, and adherence to local regulations.

Candidates should have robust experience in site plans, subdivision development, roadways, and utility design, with strong communication and organizational abilities. This is a fully onsite opportunity based in Plainfield, NJ.

Qualifications

• Land surveying expertise.
• Experience with topographic, boundary, and ALTA surveys.
• Proficiency in projects involving site plan and subdivision land development, roadway, grading, drainage, sanitary sewer, and water systems design.
• Familiarity with New Jersey State, County, and Local regulatory requirements.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare Title Surveys, ALTA Surveys, Topographic Surveys, and As-built Surveys.
• Perform Construction Stakeout.
• Maintain proficiency on regulations and standards.
