Job summary

Actalent is seeking a land surveyor for a permanent, onsite role in Edison, NJ. The candidate will prepare Title, ALTA, and Topographic surveys, as-built surveys, and surface modeling, while reviewing survey work and performing construction stakeout.

Proficiency with NJ regulatory requirements and strong communication are essential. Responsibilities include maintaining regulatory proficiency and ensuring survey work meets standards, with a focus on complex land development projects across roads,

Qualifications

• Expertise in land surveying including topographic, boundary, and ALTA surveys.
• Experience with site plan and subdivision land development, roadways, grading, drainage, and utilities.
• Familiarity with NJ State, County, and Local regulatory requirements.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare Title Surveys, ALTA Surveys, Topographic Surveys, and As-built Surveys.
• Prepare Surface Modeling.
• Review all Survey work.
• Perform Construction Stakeout.
• Maintain proficiency on regulations and standards.
