Greenview Surgery Center in Bowling Green, KY is seeking a Lead Surgical Technician to support safe patient care under RN supervision. You will scrub for the surgeon, manage the operative field, and coordinate OR staff while ensuring readiness of supplies and equipment for each case.

The role requires graduation from an accredited Surgical Technology program with 2 years of clinical experience, and preferred lead experience. BLS certification is required at employment.

Formación

• Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program (Required)
• 2 years of applicable clinical experience (Preferred)
• Lead or Supervisory experience (Preferred)
• One year of experience in an operating room setting (preferably in an ambulatory surgery center)
• Valid BLS Certification upon employment (Online certification not acceptable)

Responsabilidades

• Scrub and assist surgeon at the operative field
• Prepare the operative suite and gather supplies
• Ensure availability of supplies and instruments for scheduled cases
• Set up cases using physician preference cards
• Assist with patient positioning and draping per protocol
• Assist the surgeon during procedures and anticipate needs
• Escalate situations beyond scope of practice
• Attend mandatory in-services and participate in drills
• Participate in orientation of new employees
