Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technologist program.
• 1–3 years’ experience as a Surgical Technologist.
• Strong leadership, organizational skills, independent and critical thinking, and knowledge of legal aspects of nursing practice.

Responsibilities

• Assists with surgical procedures as scrub member under RN and surgeon supervision.
• Collaborates with surgeons and OR team to develop service line goals and optimize efficiency.
• Delivers direct and indirect patient care per policies and standards; documents accurately on the OR count sheet and verification checklist.
• Maintains collaboration with physicians and other providers to ensure continuous patient care flow and effective shift reports.
