Job summary

Greenview Surgery Center in Bowling Green, KY, is seeking a Surgical Tech to support safe operating room care under the direction of a Registered Nurse. You will scrub in, assist the surgeon, maintain asepsis, prepare the OR between cases, and help with data recording in the medical record.

The role emphasizes direct patient care, teamwork with the RN, and accurate operation room turnover. Kentucky location; ASCP-aligned program and BCLS certification preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program preferred.
• One year operating room experience preferred, ambulatory setting preferred.
• Active BCLS certification required upon employment.

Responsibilities

• Assist the surgeon during procedures and scrub in according to scope of practice.
• Prepare the operative suite by gathering supplies and equipment.
• Maintain asepsis in handling instruments, sponges, sutures, and dressings.
• Turnover ORs between cases, manage waste and clean equipment and surfaces.
• Set up procedure rooms for next day and communicate needs to supervisor.
