Job summary

AdventHealth in Castle Rock, Colorado, seeks a seasoned Surgical Services professional to lead OR readiness and coordinate the surgical team. You will ensure room setup, instrumentation, equipment, and supplies are prepared for procedures, while collaborating with pre-op and anesthesia teams to optimize patient readiness.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in a clinical setting with leadership experience, a BLS credential, and Surgical Tech/LPN/RN education.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Facilitates all aspects of team readiness for surgical procedures
• Collaborates with pre-op nurses and anesthesia team
• Manages OR turnover times and directs ancillary staff
• Monitors first case start and turnover times
• Works with PACU leadership to maintain throughput and bed availability
• Manages Doctor Preference Cards and capital purchase prioritization
• Communicates with physicians and surgery team on product requests
• Oversees training and onboarding of new personnel
• Participates in interviewing and hiring recommendations
• Acts as liaison between departments on orders and scheduling
• Performs as surgical scrub when needed
• Performs other duties as assigned
