Job summary

Trinity Health IHA Medical Group is seeking a detail‑oriented Surgery Scheduler who will be the first point of contact for patients and support providers by scheduling procedures and coordinating care.

The role requires 3–5 years of scheduling experience and a High School diploma or equivalent, with a Bachelor's degree preferred. You will assist with billing, MyChart support, and care coordination across Southeast Michigan.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent. Bachelor's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Schedule surgical procedures, testing, and pre‑op appointments.
• Obtain insurance authorizations and oversee consent forms for surgical procedures.
• Schedule, confirm, and reschedule appointments.
• Oversee provider schedule templates and input monthly schedules.
• Collect payments and support accurate billing processes.
• Assist with patient communications, paperwork, and MyChart support.
• Maintain patient records and support day‑to‑day office operations.
• Gather data and analyze scheduling efficiencies.
• Perform enhanced recovery and/or Surgical Home Coordination.

Education
