Job summary

Lorien is seeking an experienced Substation Design and Engineering professional for remote work in the United States. You will contribute across conception, engineering, construction, and commissioning phases for high voltage substation projects, coordinating with EORs and external stakeholders.

The role requires 10+ years in substation design and engineering, with PMP and PE credentials considered a plus; a MS or MBA is also favorable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or higher; PMP and/or P.E. credentials are a plus.
• 10+ years' experience in substation design and engineering of high voltage projects is highly preferred.
• Master of Science or MBA is a plus; PMP/P.E. credentials are favorable.

Responsibilities

• Be part of the team developing substation projects from conception through construction and commissioning.
• Define and support project engineering requirements and scope with Early-Stage PM and Development Group.
• Plan, coordinate and complete large-scale or several medium/long-term projects within budget and schedule.
• Secure resources and manage resources, budgets, risks and changes through formal processes.
• Conduct project meetings, tracking and analysis; communicate with clients and stakeholders.
• Provide technical oversight of EORs and ensure compliance with IEEE, NESC, ASCE, ISO, and interconnection agreements.
• Coordinate procurement with ISC to secure consulting resources and suppliers.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering

Master of Science or MBA Degree (preferred)
