WSP Global Inc. is seeking a Lead Substation P&C Engineer for our Richmond, VA office.

The candidate may work remotely from any mutually acceptable location within the United States while supporting a growing Power & Energy Substation Team. You will lead design and analysis for transmission and distribution substations, protect and control systems, and collaborate with owners, designers, and regulators to deliver safe, compliant projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering is required.
• 7 to 10 years of post-education experience as an electrical engineer.
• Strong knowledge of substation design and P&C systems.
• Ability to lead teams and coordinate with multiple disciplines.

Responsabilités

• Collect, compile, and analyze substation data and procurement packages.
• Review substation design drawings, vendor submittals, and plans.
• Develop and review single line and three-line diagrams and control schematics.
• Provide design support related to site conditions and constructability.
