Quanta Government Solutions seeks an Engineering Project Manager – Substation to provide technical leadership, oversight, and coordination from proposal through closeout. You will manage scope, design, procurement, construction, commissioning and client engagement for critical substation projects.

Reporting to the Engineering Director, you will drive adherence to codes and standards, mentor teams, and partner with internal units to deliver safe, reliable electrical infrastructure and continuous

Qualifications

• 10+ years in electric utility engineering or management for high voltage projects.
• P.E. license preferred.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Strong knowledge of ANSI, ASTM, IEEE, NEC, NESC and related standards.
• ABET-accredited degree required.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and oversee engineering work across substation projects.
• Direct proposal scope, detailed design, procurement support, construction coordination, commissioning and closeout.
• Ensure deliverables are complete, constructible and compliant with standards.
• Coordinate with client teams, engineering partners, and internal stakeholders.
• Manage project schedules, budgets and risk with senior leadership.
• Develop training strategies to elevate team capabilities and performance.
• Drive innovation and efficiency in engineering processes and methodologies.
