Job summary

You will develop, negotiate, and administer subcontract agreements, ensuring compliance with FAR/DFAR and company policies. The role requires strong negotiation, writing and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and interface with internal and external stakeholders while enabling high customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Requires a BA degree and 8 - 12 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 6 - 10 years of prior relevant experience.
• Must be a US Citizen.
• Experience negotiating terms and conditions; managing diverse subcontract types.

Responsibilities

• Create subcontract solicitations from customer requirements and solicitations.
• Analyze and estimate price proposals using cost/price analysis techniques.
• Negotiate terms, conditions, SOW, price, delivery with subcontractors; identify risks and mitigation.
• Interact with external vendors and internal teams across functions.
• Coach junior staff on policies, procedures, and best practices.
• Demonstrate business acumen and impact of contracting activities on other functions.
• Maintain customer-service oriented relationships with suppliers to improve outcomes.
