Job summary

Leidos in the Washington Metropolitan Area is seeking a Senior Contracts Manager to oversee cradle-to-grave contract management across a dynamic portfolio supporting critical national security missions.

The role requires significant experience administering and negotiating complex Government contracts (FAR/DFAR, FP, T&M, CPAF, IDIQ) and leading proposal activities while ensuring compliance and risk management.

Qualifications

• BA degree with 12+ years of relevant experience; or Masters with 10+ years.
• Experience with FAR/DFAR contracting processes and US Government contracts.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a contract team.
• Proficient with Adobe and MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Strong communication, analytical and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide cradle-to-grave contract management across a diverse government portfolio.
• Lead proposal development, terms negotiation, and contract administration.
• Ensure compliance with laws, Leidos policies, and customer requirements.
• Collaborate with program teams and leadership to balance needs and risks.
• Support hybrid work with on-site government and Leidos facilities.
