Thornton Tomasetti is seeking a Project Engineer in our Structural Practice to own complex design challenges, guide junior engineers, and influence project delivery. You will work across disciplines, contribute to project management, and begin stepping into client-facing opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Structural, or Architectural Engineering; Master’s degree preferred.
• 4+ years of structural engineering experience with proficiency in listed design tools.
• Experience designing steel, concrete, and timber systems; strong communication and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead and refine structural analysis, design, and detailing tasks with engineering judgment.
• Ensure deliverables meet project scope and contractor needs through clear organization and reviews.
• Coordinate with architects and engineers and take on increasing technical decisions.
• Mentor junior team members and foster a collaborative, high-performing culture.
• Support project management activities and engage in client-facing opportunities.
