Job summary

Thornton Tomasetti is seeking a Senior Engineer in the Structural Practice that will take on complex analysis, design, and detailing across varied building types. You will guide junior staff and collaborate with architects and engineers in a multidisciplinary setting.

You’ll develop construction documents in BIM, applying codes and engineering methods, while engaging with clients and expanding project responsibilities within TT.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Structural, or Architectural Engineering.
• 2+ years of structural engineering experience.
• Experience with SAP2000, ETABS, RAM, StructurePoint, and Revit.

Responsibilities

• Own structural analysis, design, and detailing tasks of growing complexity.
• Develop construction documents in BIM environment with quality self-review.
• Collaborate with architects, builders, and engineers across disciplines.
• Provide guidance to interns and junior engineers.
• Observe client interactions and understand scopes, services and fees.
