Job summary

WSP USA is seeking a Lead Structural Engineer to join our Industrial Center of Excellence within the Property & Buildings business line. You will lead design and analysis for industrial facilities, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams from planning through commissioning.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years of structural experience, a PE license (or ability to obtain within 12 months), and proficiency with RAM, RISA, STAAD, ETABS, Revit and AutoCAD.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Structural or Civil Engineering or related
• 7+ years of progressive structural engineering experience in industrial or similar facilities
• PE license required orable to obtain within 12 months
• Experience designing steel, concrete, masonry structures
• Proficiency with RAM, RISA, STAAD, ETABS, SAP2000, or similar
• Experience with Revit, AutoCAD and BIM workflows
• Strong knowledge of AISC, ACI, ASCE 7, IBC standards
• Strong communication and multidisciplinary coordination skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deliver high-quality technical work

Responsibilities

• Lead structural design and analysis for industrial facilities.
• Coordinate with architecture, civil, mechanical, electrical, and process teams.
• Prepare and review structural calculations, reports, specs, and construction documents.
• Perform gravity, wind, seismic, vibration, and dynamic load analyses.
• Support BIM-based project delivery using Revit and other tools.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the Industrial Center of Excellence.
• Interface with clients, contractors, and stakeholders.
• Support business development and technical pursuits as needed.
