Job summary

Black & Veatch, an employee-owned engineering firm, seeks a senior Hydropower specialist to lead technical delivery on hydro projects. You will guide design teams, apply advanced engineering analyses, and ensure quality and schedule adherence.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering, 11+ years of related work experience, and an active engineering license. Hybrid work arrangements may be available after the first 90 days.

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering and a minimum of 11 years related work experience.
• Holds active engineering registration or licensure to support engineer of record (EOR) requirements.
• Familiarity with ASME BTH and proficiency with structural analysis and design software.

Responsibilities

• Develops complex engineering deliverables for Hydropower projects and manages data for engineering work.
• Reviews and guides production teams; delegates tasks and mentors staff on project execution.
• Ensures compliance with BV quality program and project budgets, schedules, and scopes.
