Qualifikationen

• Bachelor of Engineering or Science from an ABET-accredited Structural or Civil Engineering program.
• Professional registration in at least one state.
• Minimum 5 years of related structural design experience including steel structures and reinforced concrete.
• Pre-employment onboarding requirements may include background checks, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search.

Aufgaben

• Execute complex structural analysis, perform calculations, and prepare sketches and drawings for Hydropower and Hydraulic Structures.
• Perform site inspections of existing projects and recommend remediation of aging infrastructure.
• Support dam safety assessments under the FERC Part 12d program including risk analysis and structural stability assessments.
• Collaborate with process and systems engineers on multi-disciplinary design projects.
• Supervise Structural Engineers and Technicians in drawing packages, calculations, and specifications.
• Occasional travel to client sites up to 20% of time.
• Support project administration tasks and QA requirements.
• Provide guidance on design guides, standards, codes, and B&V policies.
• Identify training needs and drive continuous improvement.
