Job summary

WSP's Dallas, TX office is seeking aSenior Structural Engineer to lead design and analysis for building and infrastructure projects. You will collaborate with our Property and Buildings Team to deliver high-quality, compliant structures.

Responsibilities include preparing plans, performing advanced modeling, mentoring junior staff, and ensuring QA/QC and regulatory compliance across projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Structural or Civil Engineering or closely related field.
• 5–7 years of post-education engineering experience, with structural or civil design exposure.
• Engineer in Training (EIT) certification.
• Proficiency in structural engineering principles and code compliance.
• Experience with design and construction management, rehabilitation and new design projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop construction plans and specifications.
• Perform advanced modeling and analysis for safe, functional structures.
• Lead or contribute to multiple concurrent projects with cross-functional teams.
• Provide guidance and training to junior engineers.
• Prepare technical reports and presentations for stakeholders.
