Job summary

WSP is seeking a Full-Time Consultant Structural Engineer in Dallas, TX. You will assist in design, development, and construction of building and infrastructure projects, delivering accurate documentation and ensuring code compliance.

You’ll work with the Property and Buildings Team on varied assignments, performing research, site condition assessments, and basic structural analysis under supervision. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Structural or Civil Engineering or closely related discipline.
  • 3–5 years of relevant post-education experience.
  • Proficient in structural design software and technical writing.
  • Familiarity with building and infrastructure codes and regulations.
  • Ability to work independently and in teams with strong communication.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with basic professional structural engineering work and research.
  • Support design and construction documentation for site conditions and loads.
  • Generate accurate documentation using drawings, 2D/3D visuals, and logs.
  • Contribute to safety and regulatory compliance on projects.
  • Compile data from site surveys, GIS, and drawings for design decisions.
  • Participate in project tasks and training as assigned.
