Job summary

Cordoba Corporation in Los Angeles, CA is seeking a Civil Engineer III - Storm Drain Designer to support transportation sector projects, including roadways and transit. The role reports to a senior engineer and collaborates with engineers, drafters, and project managers to deliver multi-disciplinary designs for capital improvement programs.

The ideal candidate holds a California PE license, a bachelor’s in civil engineering, and 8+ years in design work; expertise in Civil3D, SharePoint, and MS

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering.
• 8+ years of civil engineering design experience.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license in California.
• Experience with Autodesk Civil3D environment.
• Experience relocating underground gravity-fed utilities in streets.
• Strong technical writing, communication and client presentation skills.
• Active participation in team culture and collaboration.
• Experience with SharePoint and MS Office.
• Ability to collaborate on multidisciplinary projects/teams.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with engineers, drafters, and designers to produce designs and details.
• Plan and monitor large multi-disciplinary projects with technical complexity.
• Perform engineering work for public works projects.
• Prepare plans, specifications, and costs for capital improvement projects.
• Lead preparation of engineering reports.
• Coordinate quality review processes.
• Maintain positive relationships at all levels of the organization.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
