Job summary

Cordoba Corporation is seeking a Civil Engineer III to support the Transportation Sector in Los Angeles, CA. You will work under a senior engineer on multi-disciplinary transportation projects, coordinating with engineers, architects, and project managers to deliver design, reports, and capital improvement plans.

Ideal candidates have a CA PE license, Civil3D experience, and strong communication skills. This full-time, hybrid position offers a salary range of $100,000 to $130,000 per year and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering required.
• 8+ years of experience in civil engineering design.
• Professional Engineer (PE) License in California required.
• Experience in Autodesk Civil3D environment.
• Experience relocating underground gravity-fed utilities within public streets.
• Strong technical writing, communication and presentation skills.
• Experience with SharePoint and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with engineers, drafters, and designers to prepare design, specifications, and details for projects.
• Plan and monitor large multidisciplinary projects or complex mid-sized projects.
• Perform engineering work on public works projects.
• Prepare engineering plans, specifications, and costs for capital improvement projects.
• Lead the preparation of engineering reports.
• Coordinate quality review processes.
• Maintain positive relationships with all organizational levels.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
