Sun Life U.S. is seeking a Senior Manager, Stop Loss Underwriting to lead a multi-site Manual Underwriting team, manage workloads, and drive performance. You will hire, coach, and develop staff while ensuring adherence to underwriting guidelines and partner expectations.

The role requires strong communication across Underwriting, Sales, and Operations, with a focus on continuous process improvement in a fast-paced environment.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 5+ years in Medical Stop Loss or business operations.
• Experience leading, supervising or mentoring an operations team.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee day-to-day operations of Stop Loss underwriting team, assign workloads, manage rushes.
• Collaborate with senior Underwriting and Sales leaders to align with objectives.
• Lead interviewing, selection and onboarding of Manual Underwriters and temps.
• Provide ongoing training, coaching and policy updates.
• Promote compliant, efficient underwriting practices and performance improvements.
