Job summary

Grand Hyatt Scottsdale Resort is seeking a Lead Steward to supervise stewarding operations on an assigned shift. You will oversee dish room activities, ensure sanitation, and guide the stewarding team to support high‑quality dining experiences.

Reporting to the Executive Steward, you will train staff, maintain safety standards, and collaborate with chefs and outlets to ensure equipment and par stocks are ready for service. This is a full‑time hourly role with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Must be able to stand for long periods and lift ~30 lbs regularly.
• Previous Lead experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee stewarding operations on assigned shift and direct stewarding staff.
• Ensure cleanliness and sanitation in all food production service areas; maintain health standards.
• Train stewards on safety and sanitation and communicate needs to management.
• Lead and coordinate with kitchen and outlet teams to ensure smooth operations.
• Support with other duties as needed and provide guidance to the team.
