Grand Hyatt Scottsdale Resort is seeking a Lead Steward to supervise stewarding operations on an assigned shift. You will oversee dish room activities, ensure sanitation, and guide the stewarding team to support high‑quality dining experiences.
Reporting to the Executive Steward, you will train staff, maintain safety standards, and collaborate with chefs and outlets to ensure equipment and par stocks are ready for service. This is a full‑time hourly role with competitive benefits.

Starting rate: $21.50 per hour
Under direct supervision of the Executive Steward, the Lead Steward will oversee the kitchen stewarding operations and staff on assigned shift. Areas of responsibilities include dish room operations, basic night cleaning, receiving and storing orders. Works to continually improve guest and team member satisfaction. Responsible for cleanliness and sanitation in all food production service areas; Ensure all food and beverage outlets have sufficient equipment to perform adequately. Responsible for guiding and developing stewarding staff. Must ensure sanitation and health standards are achieved. Areas of responsibility comprise overseeing all stewarding and kitchen maintenance operations on assigned shift and in assigned outlet.

Must be able to work in a fast‑paced environment.
Ability to work a flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays.
Must be able to stand for long periods & lift approx. 30lbs on a regular basis.
Previous Lead experience preferred but not required.
Valid Food handlers license preferred.
