Grand Hyatt Scottsdale Resort seeks a Lead Steward to manage stewarding operations on an assigned shift under the Executive Steward. The role emphasizes dish room operations, sanitation, and guiding the stewarding team to deliver excellent cleanliness and service.

The ideal candidate should have a genuine desire to satisfy guests, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and offer flexible availability including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Prior lead experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• A true desire to satisfy the needs of others.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Must be able to stand for long periods & lift approx. 30lbs on a regular basis.
• Previous Lead experience preferred but not required.
• Valid Food handlers license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee stewarding operations and staff on assigned shift.
• Ensure cleanliness and sanitation in all food production service areas.
• Train stewards on safety and sanitation issues to ensure compliance with health regulations.
• Maintain par stocks of materials and equipment needed for stewardship.
• Coordinate with warehouse, restaurant chefs, and F&B managers to support operations.
• Provide guidance to stewarding team and communicate needs to management.
• Support other duties as needed to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
