Job summary

phlcareers-livech is seeking a Steward Supervisor to oversee staff and processes ensuring cleanliness and organization of culinary areas and kitchen equipment. The role includes interviewing, training, performance management, and scheduling to align with budget.

You will manage equipment inventory, oversee wares cleaning and storage, and enforce safety and security for employees and guests in a high-volume hospitality setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Two years’ experience in a hotel or high-volume kitchen.
• Ability to supervise staff including interviewing, training, and evaluating.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervision of staff to include interviewing, training, performance management, disciplinary counseling and conducting performance evaluations.
• Scheduling to assure staffing levels consistent with budget.
• Controlling, issuing and inventory of all equipment used in the restaurant, banquet room, room service, and bars.
• Overseeing the cleaning and storage of all wares used in food and beverage.
• Schedule cleaning of kitchen and banquet storage and organizing inventory.
• Ensure the safety and security of all employees and guest.
