Job summary

Legends Global is seeking a dedicated Stewarding professional to maintain clean dishwashing and kitchen areas and to support banquet setup in a fast-paced event environment. The role requires safe operation of dishwashing equipment and adherence to sanitation standards.

Applicants should have a High school diploma or equivalent and prior lead or trainer experience, with strong attention to cleanliness and safety. On-site work with a focus on teamwork and reliable attendance is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous lead, trainer, or similar capacity.
• Working knowledge of commercial kitchen sanitation and warewashing procedures.
• Ability to operate commercial dishwashing and stewarding equipment safely.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions and safety procedures.
• Must be able to stand for the duration of shift and lift at least 25 pounds.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced event environment.
• Strong attention to cleanliness, organization, safety and detail.

Responsibilities

• Maintain clean, sanitary, and orderly kitchen, warewashing, storage, and food preparation areas.
• Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, and utensils.
• Operate commercial dishwashing machines and other stewarding equipment safely.
• Assist with sweeping, mopping, and general floor care.
• Clean and sanitize worktables, shelves, and equipment.
• Manage trash and waste, and report hazards to leadership.
• Assist with loading/unloading and inventory maintenance.
• Support banquet setup and front-of-house as needed.
• Ensure proper storage and organization of food products and perishables.
