Job summary

Endeavor Health in Arlington Heights, IL is seeking a Lead Sterile Processing Tech to oversee the Sterile Processing Department during day shifts and ensure seamless operations across ORs and affiliated facilities. This role demands hands-on leadership, attention to detail, and commitment to patient safety.

You will supervise decontamination, assembly, packaging, and sterilization workflows, manage daily department needs, coordinate instrument availability, and support staff education to

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
Certification: CBSPD or CRCST upon hire.
Two years of healthcare sterile processing experience.

Responsibilities

Assist in running the department when supervisor is unavailable.
Inform management items and supplies needed to order and locate instrumentation to meet OR demand.
Oversee daily departmental needs.
Provide sterile processed materials and equipment to hospital and affiliated facilities.
Execute procedures for decontamination, assembly, packaging, sterilization and surgical case cart setup.
Follow procedures to ensure decontamination completion.
Place sterile items in appropriate distribution areas with correct labeling.
