Endeavor Health in Arlington Heights, IL is seeking a Lead Sterile Processing Tech to oversee the Sterile Processing Department. This full-time role supports operations 7:00am-3:30pm, ensuring timely decontamination, packaging, and case cart setup to meet OR demand.

Two years of sterile processing experience are required, with CBSPD or CRCST certification to be obtained upon hire; Outlook proficiency is expected. Competitive benefits and growth opportunities available.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
Two years’ experience in healthcare sterile processing or surgical area.
Certification: CBSPD or CRCST upon hire.
Proficiency in Outlook.

Responsibilities

Assist in running the department when supervisor is unavailable.
Inform management items and supplies needed to order and assist in locating instrumentation; adjust workflow to OR demand.
Oversee departmental needs daily and provide sterile processed materials and equipment.
Execute decontamination, assembly, packaging, sterilization and surgical case cart setup with quality control.
Place sterile items in correct areas, ensuring proper labeling by department.
