Job summary

Health Wealth Pharmacy in Houston, TX is seeking an experienced Sterile Compounding Pharmacist to oversee sterile compounding operations, verify prescriptions, and maintain compliant, high-quality compounding processes.

You will mentor technicians, ensure aseptic techniques meet USP standards, review batch records, and collaborate with leadership to drive safety and efficiency in a fast-paced 503A environment.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted Texas pharmacist license.
• PharmD or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy.
• Strong understanding of pharmacy regulations and medication safety.
• Excellent calculation and prescription verification skills.
• Ability to work independently with high attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Oversee sterile compounding activities and aseptic techniques.
• Review and verify compounded formulations, calculations, and batch records.
• Supervise sterile compounding technicians.
• Review prescriptions for accuracy, dosing, and safety.
• Verify medications before dispensing and ensure proper labeling.
• Maintain USP <797>, USP <800>, and Texas regulations compliance.
• Collaborate with Pharmacist-in-Charge to ensure safe daily production.
• Support training, process improvements, and quality assurance.
