Job summary

SpaceX, Bastrop TX, is seeking a Lead Manufacturing Engineer for Starlink PCBA to guide a high-precision electronics production team. You will own the transition from design to manufacturing, optimize layouts, and drive improvements across quality, delivery, and cost in a fast-paced environment.

You will mentor engineers, manage documentation, and collaborate with design and test engineers to push manufacturability and automation to the next level.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of science in aerospace, mechanical, systems, electrical, or manufacturing engineering.
• 3+ years hands-on manufacturing experience.
• Experience leading a team of engineers

Responsibilities

• Lead Starlink PCBA manufacturing team and projects.
• Oversee SMT, post-processing, and testing processes.
• Implement high-volume plug-and-play production capabilities.
• Align manufacturing goals with quality, delivery, and cost KPIs.
• Mentor engineers and interns; manage documentation.
• Drive automation and DFx/DFM with design teams.
