Job summary

SpaceX is expanding its Starlink PCBA manufacturing in Bastrop, Texas. We seek a driven leader to build and guide a production team, establish standards, and transition startup processes into a disciplined production organization.

Expect to rapidly become a SME across multiple complex production operations and operate in a dynamic startup setting to meet mission goals. The role requires driving NPI, process qualification, rate ramp, and collaborating across production, design, test, and supply

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering required.
• 5+ years in electronics development or production.
• 2+ years leading a team of 10+ direct reports.

Responsibilities

• Manage, recruit, and develop a team of engineers for Starlink PCBA manufacturing.
• Set technical standards and ensure on-time delivery.
• Lead SMT/PCBA development strategy including capacity and process capability.
• Own quality, delivery, cost, yield, and equipment performance.
• Own factory layout, material flow, and build-process strategy from receiving to test.
• Drive new products from design into production; ensure NPI readiness and DFM/DFT.
• Coordinate daily with production, design, test, supply chain, and quality.
• Define production data, SPC, and MES/MRP/ERP requirements.
• Maintain safety and ESD control culture.
