Job summary

Incident IQ in Atlanta seeks a Site Reliability Engineer to join our Engineering team. This is a build-from-zero role where you’ll define what reliability means for our production systems, using cutting-edge observability tools, and help the whole engineering org ship with confidence.

Expect real engineering depth, startup pace, and independence. You’ll own SLIs/SLOs, incident management, and the observability stack, while reducing toil and driving reliability improvements across services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent.
• 5+ years in SRE/DevOps/production engineering role.
• Strong systems literacy and problem-solving mindset.

Responsibilities

• SLI/SLO definition and Grafana implementation for core services.
• Incident management setup and on-call maturation.
• Observability stack ownership across metrics, logs, traces, and RUM.
• Toil reduction through infrastructure as code and automation.
• Chaos and performance engineering with load tests and game days.
