Job summary

Incident IQ, LLC is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer to join our engineering team. You’ll be the first dedicated SRE, defining reliability standards, building dashboards, and shaping our production systems with a hands-on, startup mindset.

You’ll own SLI/SLOs, incident management, and the observability stack, while reducing toil through automation. Collaboration, data-driven decisions, and rapid execution are essential to thrive here.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/CE or equivalent.
• AI tools used daily to multiply output and ship quickly.
• 5+ years in SRE/DevOps/production engineering.
• SLI/SLO and error-budget experience.
• Observability tooling experience (Grafana, PromQL, OpenTelemetry).
• Excellent communication and independent ownership.

Responsibilities

• Define SLI/SLOs and implement Grafana dashboards with burn-rate alerts.
• Own incident management practices and on-call readiness.
• Own observability stack: metrics, logs, traces, RUM, and synthetic checks.
• Coach teams on SRE and observability best practices.
• Automate toil away with infrastructure as code and tooling.
• Design and run load tests and chaos engineering exercises.
