Job summary

Inspire Brands is hiring two Senior Site Reliability Engineers to build and scale reliable, observable systems for high-traffic, customer-facing platforms. The role blends software engineering with operational excellence to reduce toil and prevent incidents, embedding reliability into system design.

The ideal candidate has hands-on SRE experience, strong programming skills (Python/Go/Java/Node.js), and deep cloud/observability know-how. On-site in Atlanta with 80% on-site presence.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in Site Reliability Engineering, Software Engineering, or Platform Engineering.
• 2+ years experience with Kubernetes and containerized workloads.
• 4-year degree in Computer Science or related field.

Responsibilities

• Define and manage SLIs, SLOs, and Error Budgets for critical services.
• Drive production readiness reviews and reliability requirements into architecture/design.
• Perform capacity planning, failure mode analysis, and dependency risk assessments.
• Identify systemic reliability risks and drive remediation before customer impact.
• Lead incident response and blameless postmortems focused on systemic fixes.
• Continuously improve detection, response, and recovery processes.
• Build self-healing tooling, automation, and CI/CD safety improvements.
